POLICY CHAIR TO TALK ON THE OJIBWAY CORRECTIONAL FACILITY
Our Policy Chair Katie LaCosse will have a short program, speaking on a white paper proposing to renovate the Ojibway Correctional Facility into a state psychiatric facility, instead of turning the shuttered property into a detention center for ICE as proposed by Rep. Greg Markkanen (MI House Resolution 151).

Join us for our October monthly meeting at 7 PM, tomorrow Wednesday October 1st at the Super 8 in Houghton.

WHERE: Fifth & Elm, 426 Quincy Street, Hancock MI
RSVP: We respectfully request your RSVP so we have an accurate headcount for Studio Pizza and refreshments! (Click the button below or scan the QR code in the flyer above).

CANVASS @ LOCAL FARMER’S MARKETS WITH KATO
The local group Keweenaw Against the Oligarchy or KATO, a part of Michigan United Action, is now canvassing at local Farmer’s Markets for the ballot initiatives Michiganders for Money Out of Politics and Invest in MI Kids.

Please note: Sign up via the buttons below is required for volunteer canvassers. If volunteers do not sign up then KATO may not staff a particular location.
